Introduction[]
Originally, Sektor 51 was supposed to be an Adventure Mode World until it was renamed to 'Endless Sektor 51', which means this World could have only be playable in Survival Mode. However, it was confirmed to be a new game instead of a new world.
Early Footage[]

In the Running Fred trailer, Sektor 51 was shown in the very first trailer of the game. Sektor 51 was originally a nuclear plant with lots of toxic waste. In the trailer, you can see Fred wearing and using a jetpack. To get this jetpack, you have to buy Value Pack 3, which contains the Rocket Fred costume. It has a built-in jetpack identical to the one in the trailer, but it explodes if it runs out of fuel.
Development[]
On April 5, Dedalord announced that Sektor 51 will release in Fall 2023 with a Facebook post. It was stated that it will be a separate game titled "Running Fred Sektor 51" instead of a new world. Other than that, very little is known about the game.
Gameplay[]
The game might play identically to the original Running Fred. The announcement photo shows that the game will have new obstacles like explosive rockets and lasers. There may also be decorations such as aliens inside glass containers and sliding doors that can open. It appears to be a sci-fi factory with some alien (Area 51)-related parts to it. Also, instead of being a nuclear plant like the teaser, the concept art shows that Sektor 51 will be based off of factories, with new obstacles and gimmicks like falling crates that crush Fred, tubes that Fred can go into, giant vault doors, spiky rolling cylinders, circular saws, bottomless pits, pipes, conveyor belts, and AC units. Dedalord also promised that there will be more blood and gore in the game.
